Recount Writing-My Papa went to hospital.

On Wednesday, my papa went to the hospital.  

I felt unhappy but he did not want to go. 
His kids were very worried.
They felt unhappy too. 
So me and my nana went there every day
so we could see if they were looking after our papa. 
I said to my nana, “Can we go to get a kai,
because I’m hungry.”

So we went to KFC and then we went home.

      The Maori people were in NZ first.

      Next the English people came to NZ.

They had a fight. 

The Maori people went to get help.

They sent a letter to the King.

The King sent James Busby and

William Hobson to help make the fighting stop.

They made some rules.

We will look after each other.

We will look after the things in NZ.

We will look after NZ.

They were partners.

They agreed to sign the Treaty to keep NZ safe.

They signed the Treaty and they called the Treaty,

The Treaty of Waitangi.
