My Writing sample-Term 1 2021
Here is my Writing Sample for term 1 2021. I think my writing has improved Because I can spell more words correctly.
On Monday morning
On Monday morning my Nana felt sick. She felt like she didn't have a voice so the First person she called was her boss and told her that she was going to stay home then she called her two clients and the last person she called was her workmate. Once she got up she had some pills so it would take away the pain but it didn't. Also it was my Mum's appointment. I had to go with my Nana and Mummy and my Papa had to stay home. Then we got ready to go to Kawakawa hospital. My Nana had to take the COVID 19 test just to be safe but then she had to go home straight away so we went to my Mum's appointment. It took so long I had to play with my Mums phone. After that long appointment my Nana had to take the test. It took a bit of time but finally we got there. My Nana had to take the nose swobe. It felt awful. My Nana's reaction was funny. I was laughing hard out. Then we drove back home. When we got home I told my Papa “that my Nana was ticklish when the lady did a nose swobe on her” I asked my “Nanny if she was alright”. My Nana had to Wait 2 days to get her Results. My Nana really wanted to go back to work as soon as possible. When she got her results she was so happy that she was going to tell her boss. She was alright. fianlly i had a shower and then got changed into my nighty and went to bed. I felt happy, safe and lovable.

When my Papa went to the Hospital
When my Papa went to the Hospital
On Saturday my Papa went to the Hospital because he didn't feel good. He was going to church. He woke up and had a shower and after his shower, he tried to put on his long pants but he couldn't put them on. He was too tired to put his long pants on. I felt sad for my papa so I went to ask him if he was alright.
He said, "I'm not feeling good." Then he lay down on his bed. My Nanna called the ambulance from Kawakawa. My Papa told her to not call the Ambulance but she had to. After the phone call, the ambulance just got there. When my Papa walked to the bed, my Papa's cousin came over to see how he was doing. He knew he was sick because he was going past our house and then he recognised the ambulance so he stopped outside the gate. When my Papa went to Kawakawa Hospital he was transferred to Whangarei Hospital. We got in our car and started to drive to Whangarei Hospital. We stopped at a shop to get something to eat. We had a pie, a drink and an ice cream. After we ate all of our food we went into the Hospital. When we got in there my Nanna had to go in first. After a while we all went in after a minute or two. My Papa was on the top floor. We went into his room and we had church. After we had church I gave my Papa a huge hug. We stayed for an hour and went home but before we went home I said to my Papa, "Bye bye Papa. I'll see you tomorrow." My Papa said, "Okay bye bye." Finally we got in the car and drove home. I felt sad and happy at the same time but I still felt great.
