Recount Writing-Flooding.

WALT make our stories more interesting for our readers.
Flooding
On Friday I went to my uncle's house. I had a sleepover. When we got up the next morning there was a thunderstorm so we got up and went to the Farm to see the floods. There was water everywhere. There was no grass. The paddocks were covered by water and there was water on the road.
It looked like the whole area was devastated by flood water.  I felt nervous and very worried because I thought the water might come up to the house. But luckily it didn't come up to the house because I forgot that it was on a hill.
We went for a ride so we could look at the floods. They were humongous. We wanted to have a swim in the floods but our uncle said no because it was too cold to swim in the floods. Our uncle said, ¨We are only looking for floods anyway. You didn't bring your togs.¨ So we went back to the farm so we can cool off and we played with the Lego. Then I went home. When I got home there was little floods not as big as my uncle floods. As the sun went down the the floods just began to shrink.

On Monday

On Monday
On Monday I went with Haka. She also brought my mum. We drove Haka's van over to Waipapa to have a look around in the 2 dollar shop. When we got out we went into the 2 dollar shop. My mum got some more hair ties. Then we went to the check out.
I said to Haka, “Can we go to the Warehouse in Waipapa?”
When we got to the Warehouse there was a long line. It didn't go slow. I was excited. I was jumping up and down and clapping my hands together. When we got into the Warehouse inside it was big. Haka told us to go and have a look around. First we got some clothes. Next we got some scrunchies and when I touched the scrunchies. They were fluffy and cute. fluffy and cute.
I asked my mum if I could buy 1 of them. My mum said yes.
I asked my mum if I could buy 1 of them. My mum said yes.
After that we were looking for Haka. My mum was at the check out and I was looking for Haka. Then I found Haka.
I said to Haka, “My mum is finished.”
Haka said, “Okay let's go to the check out.”
I said to Haka, “My mum is already at the checkout. Then we went back to the van. Finally we went home and we had dinner I was as busy as a bee so I went to bed

I found it easy to...use full stops.
